Wesley "Wes" Raymond Elliott

Wesley Raymond "Wes" Elliott, 37, of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Wes was born on November 17, 1985, in Kentwood. At 16 years old, he met the love of his life, Tilishia DeVriendt. They had three beautiful children and married at Garden Park Church of God on May 17, 2018. Wesley was known for his energetic, spontaneous, and loving presence and was always the life of any room he entered. He enjoyed taking his family on vacations and spending time outdoors, as well as engaging in deep conversations about life with his friends. He was a handyman around the house and was also known for his love of grilling food for his family. His favorite late nights were spent in deep pillow talk with his wife, and moments with his children were cherished. Wes is survived by his beloved wife Tilishia; children Deion, Jasmine, and Kaden; parents Colleen Lehman and Raymond Elliott; brothers Jacob (Madison) and Matthew; sisters Heidie and Samantha; brothers-in-law Antonio (Kristie) and Justin; several nieces and nephews; and a great niece. Wesley was preceded in death by his grandparents Ken and Pat Elliott; his mother-in-law Kary DeVriendt.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Wesley Elliott on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508.  Attendees are welcome to pay their respects and express their condolences to family.
