Obituary

Patrick “Pat” Schreur, age 37, of Hamilton Mi passed away of a ruptured brain aneurism on August 28th, 2023. Pat was an organ donor and now hero to so many. He was born to Larry and Shawn (Zoerhof) Schreur on October 2nd, 1985. Pat was the youngest of two boys. He grew up in Hamilton. Pat was an incredible son, grandson, brother, cousin, father and husband. He was a successful business owner and was so proud of his business, Playstruction, for which he traveled the U.S. installing “FUN” (commercial playgrounds), sometimes dragging his wife and kiddos along for the ride. He was a tinkerer and loved fixing things. Anyone and everyone could bring anything mechanical to him to be repaired and had so many fun projects going with his kids. He always humored Kristin’s Pinterest project ideas, and often brought them to light. He was a super dad and hero. Pat lived and loved for his family and friends.

Pat is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather Melvin Zoerhof.

Pat is survived by his wife Kristin and 4 children Zoey (16), Evelyn (11), Kylee (7), and Kole (5), His Grandparents Arla (Vander Hoop) Zoerhof and Gordon and Shirley (Dekker) Schreur, His parents Larry and Shawn (Zoerhof) Schreur, His brother Aaron (Amanda) Schreur, Nieces Kinsley and Audin and Nephew Rutledge, In-laws, Richard Stone of Hamilton, Cindy and Jamie Risner of Parma Mi, Sister in-law Jamie (Greg) Zaroslinski, Niece Sydney,  and Nephew Blake.
