Mark William Monger passed away on May 14, 2023, at 12:06am, with his loving daughters by his side. He was born on December 6, 1955.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Oliver Graham Monger, mother Mary Jo Monger, older brother Steven Monger and younger brother Scott Monger. He is survived by his daughters Rebecca (DJ) Coke, grandchildren-Chloe, Calli, Caleb and Claire; Emily (Chris) Whipple, grandchildren-Levi, Kamden and Everett; Molly (Anthony) Asaro, grandchild-Rowyn; Honorary granddaughter-Taylor Marie Christensen; Sister Mary Sue Spenny; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark worked many jobs. He was a Journey man Millwright Welder at GM 36th St. plant for 25 years. He was on the UAW Local 730 shop committee representing all skill trades for a term. After GM, he was a project manager at Coke Steel in AZ. He ran his own swimming pool service company for 10 years while working at GM. He drove a Kenworth truck for Paragon Tool and Die for 5 years. He was a Real Estate Agent for Bellabay Realty for the last 6 years of his life. Mark loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles for the past 40 years. He leaves behind many friends, close acquaintances and riding buddies. He would participate in the WTF rides almost every Sunday during the summer. He also leaves behind his trusted partner, Maverick, the wonder dog.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on July 1, 2023 at 4pm at the American Legion in Caledonia, MI. In lieu of flowers, Mark would encourage donating to a charity of your choice.
