Linda Lorraine (Duncan) Beach

Linda was born on July 20th 1950 to Henry Francis Duncan and Ethel Catherine Nearn, she helped raise her younger siblings through out her Teen years. She helped in her aunt’s restaurant for many years at Merlene’s Lunch Box on the north side of Kalamazoo. She went on to racing her car at Kalamazoo speedway. She graduated High school in 1966 from St. Joseph High School. She became a Mother in 1967. She worked hard as a single mother to support her 3 young children. She sold home interiors, Avon, And later went to Kalamazoo Beauty academy where she received her cosmetology license and continued to do hair for many years, Even making a salon in her home. Linda had many talents from cake decorating, Gardening, Planting her flowers in the yard, playing bingo, Playing her 3&4 digit numbers daily, Remodeling her home and LOVED country music, And spending time with her family. In 1976 She met her husband Tom and the had a daughter together in 1977, and Married on December 31st 1978. When she met Tom he had 7 children Linda had 3 One together made their family complete with 11 Children. They always loved having a big family. Linda leaves behind 10 Children,29 Grand Children, 42 Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grand Child. 2 Adopted Grandchildren and 2 Adopted Great Grand Children.

Joann Kerns of Battle Creek, Tom (Jackie) Beach of Fruit port, Scarlet (Don) Anderson of Battle Creek, Henrietta McLaughlin of Battle Creek, Roseann (Randy) Robbins of Battle Creek, Elonda Duncan of Kalamazoo, Brenda (Glenn) white of Battle Creek, Ernest (Susan) Munson of Kalamazoo, Steven (shawnyll) Munson of Gobles. Linda (David) Buchanan of Kalamazoo. 3 sisters Wanda (Gary) Lester of Galesburg, Starla (Michael) Ruskins of Battle Creek, sherry McKay of Kalamazoo. 2 Brothers Dale Duncan of Tulsa, OK. Tom (Tammy) Crawford of Parchment, 2 Adopted children Billie Jean Cagle and Rasaun (Ranee) Cunningham. A special nephew who was her Main care giver for her final days Paul Ford.  special friend who also helped with her care Sean Haney. Her Loving Dog’s and companions of 15 years Carmella and Onyx (midget) of 10 years. She is proceeded in death by her Father Henry, Mother Ethel, Sister Ronda, Brothers Eddy, David, Fred, Jim, Daughter Shawn Beach and her Loving Husband Ashel “Tom” Beach.  

We will not be having a service at this time, We will have a Celebration of life dinner for her on July 15th, 2023 At 832 Reed Ave, Kalamazoo Michigan 49001. Time is TBD Call Linda Buchanan @ 269-377-4235, Closer to the Dinner Date to Verify time.
