Loni was the daughter of Linda Beach (Duncan) and William Gibson. She passed away unexpectedly on January 30th at Bronson Methodist Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Loni Attended Comstock Public schools, she was a Nanny to a couple families. Loni then started her own family in 1986, when her first born son Dustin was born, then having Travis in 1989. Loni raised her two boys as a single mother so for years she was a stay-at-home Mom. When her boys got older and went off to school, she started working at KCMS where she made many friends who she still held dear to her. Loni had to leave her position at KCMS due to her health issues. Loni enjoyed music and singing, bingo and playing scratch off tickets, playing cards and just enjoying the company of others. She loved thunderstorms. She would grab her shampoo and head out to wash her hair in the rain. She had a love for Thomas Kincaid. She collected anything he had, and her house was filled with Teddy bears and Pink Roses.
In 2003 Loni had the delight of becoming a grandmother to her Granddaughter Haylie Jean Reeves, She LOVED being a grandma and always looked forward to the nights Haylie was coming over. In 2011, she welcomed her grandson Carter James Duncan.
Loni was always very outspoken. She never knew what biting her tongue was. Her personality was rare, she either liked you or didn’t and if she didn’t, you knew! She had a few she held dear to her, and she would make sure you knew that too.
Loni leaves behind her 2 Boys; Dustin and Travis Duncan, Her 2 Grandchildren; Haylie Jean and Carter James.
