Obituary

Ellis (Totar) Irving Sundquist age 77 of Paris passed away July 19, 2023 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born on August 1, 1945 to France and Enda (Seamen) Sundquist. 

On April 22, 1968 he married Laura (Wright) Sundquist. Surviving are his wife Laura, two daughters Tina (Bryan) Kuenhl of Holton, and Diane Sundquist of Paris, three grandsons, Brandon (Debbie) Lauer of Muskegon, Hunter (Rebekah Battle) Clifton of Paris, Logan (Ashlyn Chupp) Clifton of Paris, bonus Granddaughter Gabriella (Jacob) Maynard, great grandson Chuck Lauer, bonus great grandson Jericho Maynard. A sister Linda (Lloyd) Bryne, two brother in-laws Mark (Connie) Wright of Paris and Randy (Diane) Wright of Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Harvey (Helen) Wright, brothers Ronald (Gus) Sundquist and Joe (Pat deceased) Sundquist, sister Janice Sundquist, brother in-laws Harvey (Buzz), Harold, and Steve wright. A nephew Patrick Sundquist, a niece Tracy Wright, nephew in-law Eric Spaugh and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Totar worked for Corny Bouman Pig Farm, Gibson Refrigerator, Wolverine, Roy Meyers for 10 years and Western Concrete for 15 years. He was a man of many trades. Totar had a love for John Deere Tractors and enjoyed taking his grandsons for rides. 

A celebration of life has already taken place. At Totar's request, cremation has taken place.
