Donna Peterson Obituary

Donna Louise Peterson (Underwood) of Grand Rapids, MI was called home on Sunday May 7th, 2017. She will be remembered as a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She had a special love of Euchre and shopping. She is survived by her children Christine Bonk (James Owen), Denise Bell (Charlie), Jolene Redmond (Mark), Alitia Farrell (Tao), James Peterson (Jennifer), 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, Siblings Kay Carolan, Larry Underwood (Karen), Sister in Laws Janette Underwood, Mary Underwood. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 11th, at Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave Kentwood, MI 49508. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church 1253 52nd St SE Kentwood, MI 49508 on Friday May 12th, at 11 am. A private burial will occur on Monday, May 15th. The family is forever grateful to Emmanuel Hospice for their compassionate care during her last weeks. Memorial contributions to the Special Olympics are suggested and appreciated .
