Curtis retired from Tecumseh Products after working there for 44 years. He was very particular in
the way he did things. An example would be how he took care of his yard. Everything was always
pruned, edged, trimmed, mowed and watered. One lawn service told him they used his lawn as a
guide for how they worked on their customers’ lawns. He enjoyed mowing lawns. If he saw that a
neighbor needed help with their lawn, he would mow it for them. His physical health was very
important, and he walked five miles five days a week. His neighbors all knew his schedule. He
was proud of his good health.
He enjoyed spending 21 winters at their Florida home and enjoyed spending time with his
grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the First Church
