Corene Rae Edwards

Corene Rae Edwards, 61, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully September 10, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. 

Corene dedicated her life to the medical field where she worked closely with patients and in later years, shared her gift through teaching. She will always be remembered for her endless positivity, strength and playful personality. 

She is survived by her mother, Lorene Veurink, step-parents Duard and Pat Warsen, brother, Jack Edwards, daughters, Grace Langdon and Meriah (Johnathan) Johnson and grandson, Atlas Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Edwards and her step-father Warren Veurink.

A visitation to celebrate Corene's life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm located at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.  It is requested by the family that bright colors be worn as Corene was such a colorful person.
