Carolyn Aaron

Carolyn Mae Anderson Aaron of Byron Center, Michigan, age 88, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family at son Richard (Michele) Bidwell's home, on Friday, September 1, 2023.  She was born to Richard and Valora (Jury) Anderson on November 16, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan.

Carolyn was a 1953 graduate of Howell High School, during which time she worked part time as a phone operator in Howell.  She sold Cadillacs for a short time, held the Livingston County Secretary of Treasurer seat, and was the branch manager of Frist Federal Savings and Loan in Brighton.

Carolyn loved to play slot machines and moved to Las Vegas in 1991, where she lived for 17 years.  She moved back to Byron Center, Michigan in 2008, to, once again, be close to her family.

Carolyn is survived by her sister Clarice (James) Reed of Howell, Michigan, daughter Linda Grand of Cripple Creek, Colorado, daughter Dian (Michael) Schultz of Brighton, Michigan, son Richard (Michele) Bidwell, Sr. of Byron Center, Michigan, grandchildren Bradley Hatfield, Donald Hatfield, Jessica Daniels, Richard Bidwell, Jr. Matthew Bidwell, 13 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Valora Anderson, brother and sister-in-law Richard and Polly Anderson, niece Karen Reed, husband Harold J Bidwell, and husband Walker A. Aaron.

There will be a Celebration of Life gather at Richard and Michele Bidwell's residence in Byron Center, Michigan on October 1, 2023.
