Carole Jones

Carole Jean Jones born August 03, 1944 passed away peacefully with her son and husband by her side on 9/15/2023. Carole was born in Florida on Eglins Air Force Base to her father, Eugene Williams, and mother, Elizabeth Williams. In her youth, Carole enjoyed going dancing and seeing movies. She spent her adult life in southern California working in data entry and later in business tax preparations. Carole is lovingly remembered for her love of audio books, day trips, game shows, and Elvis. She had a deep love for her family and the family dogs will remember her affectionately for Carole’s daily doggie massages. She moved to Michigan in 2013 and resided with her son, Richard, and his family. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Williams. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Warren Hoelzen Jr., two sons, John and Richard (Marlene) Jones, and granddaughters Christi and Brittany Jones. The family is grateful to Trinity Health St. Mary’s care team in the Critical Care unit for their unyielding support and compassion during Carole’s final days.
