Alice Jean Heard

Alice Jean Heard of Grand Rapids, MI, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 at Laurels of Sandy Creek.  Alice was a fighter who overcame breast cancer twice along with living with diabetes for a majority of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Emma Killingham, her brothers, Jesse & James Killingham, her sister, Shirley Killingham and her grandson, Connor James Killingham.  She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Frank Killingham, Lamont (Kelly) Killingham and Phillip (Heidi) Killingham along with numerous grandchildren.  

Per her wishes, cremation has been chosen.  A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time.  They also wish to thank Laurels of Sandy Creek and Faith Hospice staff for caring for her.  In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation to Faith Hospice.
