Yoko Kido, born in Elyria, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She is survived by her mother Chieko; her father Akiyoshi, a doctor; her brother Taka, also a doctor; and her sister Katie. Yoko also desired to become a doctor, graduating from the University of Michigan with a biology major. Going to Japan to teach English with the JET program was one of the most enjoyable experiences of her life. Health problems intervened, and Yoko courageously faced them for over twenty years, enduring numerous operations. With her warm, caring and kind nature, she is deeply missed by her family.
