William "Skip" Wilson lost a battle with cancer on March 26 2021.

Skip was a avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and loved his dog Ziggy. He was employed at Verplank Trucking, a job he loved. He loved driving his truck and had great friends there.

He was born April 15, 1963 in Grand Rapids Michigan. He is survived by his parents Bill and Judy Wilson of Bradenton Florida; Geraldine Harnish of Inverness Florida; Dawn Sagryn of Belmont Michigan; siblings, Sue and Doug Miller of Greenville, Julie and Randy Wynsma of Byron Center, Laurie and Randy Salmon of Custer, Vicki and Dave Russ of Hamilton, Ken Wilson of Florida, Beth and Craig Vaughan, Rob and Shannon Wilson, Cindy and Brian Bergsma all of Rockford, Brian and Shelly Wallace of Ohio, Tracy Wallace of Lowell; many nieces and nephews, many friends and his weekend coffee buddies at 76th St. Truck Stop.

He was preceded in death by a nephew Billy Jo VerStrat, a niece Amber Ward and a sister Holly Ditmar.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned. More information to come. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
