William (Bill) Spielberger went to be with his Lord on March 18th. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Regina Spielberger, Melissa (Paul) Richter, Janet (Denny) Mueller, Walter (Sue) Spielberger, Karl (Mary) Spielberger, Nancy Blahnik and Terri Simonds; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grand children, and his brothers, Bob and John, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne and son Scott. Bill enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, stamp collecting, bowling, fishing, playing cards (only when he won), and had a great love for trains.Visitation will take place Friday, March 23, at Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Ave, Kentwood) from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 24 at St. Paul the Apostle Church (2750 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids) at 11:00 am, with visitation taking place before the Mass from 10-11 am. In honor of Bill, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
