January 9, 2012 Service: January 12, 2012 PURCELL - William E. Purcell Jr (Bill), aged 68 of Kentwood, passed away January 9th, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents William E. and Bette R. Purcell Sr. He is survived by his loving family; wife Bonnie Purcell, his children William E. (Jennine) Purcell III, Laura Purcell (David Lynch), Sherry (Mike) Millard, Kerry (Dennis) Huver and his 7 grandchildren Ian and Amelia Purcell, Austin, Lauren and Emma Millard, and Lily and Josie Huver, his brother and sister in-laws Greg (Ginny) Purcell, Connie (Frank) Taylor, Gary (Debbie) Smith and many nieces and nephews. Bill retired from Van Duinen Elevator Service in August of 2010 and previously retired from the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669 after many years of service. The family will receive family and friends at Ofield Funeral Home located at 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue, Kentwood Mi, 49508 on Thursday Jan 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday Jan, 13 at 2 p.m. (Additional Visitation for Family and Friends from 1 - 2 p.m.) at Cornerstone Church located at 1675 84th Street SE, Caledonia Mi, 49316. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
