William (Bill) Wallace Jones of Allegan MI, age 92, passed away on April 13, 2025.

Bill was the oldest son born to Bert and Agnus Jones on April 22, 1932, in Grand Rapids, MI. Bill was a Godwin Heights high school graduate in Wyoming, MI. Bill was married to Joan Jones, his loving wife for 38 years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and loved to Hunt and Fish. He also loved sitting by the lake they lived on, watching and feeding the birds and the squirrels. You could often find Bill working in his garden, in the yard, or serving others. Bill was a kind and loving person who was deeply committed to his loving wife and family. He loved sharing his lake home with family and friends and telling fish stories. In Bill's free time, he loved going to his many grandkids' sporting events. He was so proud of each one of them.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Joan Jones, loving children and stepchildren, Rick Jones (Hildur Kristjanfdottir), Cathy Tilma, Connie (Jim) Brooks, Kim (Mike) Klunder, Steve Smith (Pam Brown), Karen (Ken) Heise, Lori (Junior) Root, Lisa (Joel) Stoepker, brother and many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death are Bill's Parents, Bert and Agnus Jones; Sister-in-Law Helen Jones; Grandsons Nathaniel Root and Shawn Heise.

The family would like to thank U of M Hospital staff for their care and compassion during Bills sickness.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside ceremony for immediate family at Chapel Hill Cemetery on May 9th, 2025, at 12:00 pm. If you plan to attend, we will ask that you arrive approximately 11:45 am for the ceremony.

There will be a celebration of Bill's life 1-3pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Christ Community Church 3370 113th Avenue, Allegan, MI 49010.
