IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Douglas
Bilyk
October 27, 1951 – July 3, 2025
William Douglas Bilyk, 73, of Gobles, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2025. Bill was born on October 27, 1951, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and lived a life defined by hard work, love of family, and a passion for the outdoors. He was the founder of a successful machine shop that specialized in hydraulic cylinders.
Outside of his career, Bill found joy in many passions—whether out on the golf course, caring for his horses, working on the farm, or simply spending time with his family. He was a longtime board member of the Kalamazoo Elks Lodge, where he enjoyed fellowship and service to his community.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Vicki Bilyk; his children Michael (Kari), Matthew (Ashley), and Christopher (Kerri); and six cherished grandchildren: Logan (Ariel), Cody, Anika, Shelby, Christopher, and Jonathan/Johnny. He is also survived by his sister Tracey David (Lee) and niece Samantha (Cory) and nephew Chad (Laura). Bill was preceded in death by his sister Janet Verastek (William).
A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Sunday, July 20th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Kalamazoo Elks Lodge No. 50 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill's honor to the National Psoriasis Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Bill's legacy of kindness, hard work, and devotion to his loved ones will be remembered always.
