August 4, 2014 William "Billy" Alonso of Kentwood passed away on August 4th. Billy is survived by his loving wife Kathleen along with his well loved and cherished daughters Madeline, Abigail, and Olivia. He will also be missed by his mother Miren Alonso, siblings Virginia Alonso (Eduardo Vega), Mark Alonso, Susan Alonso (Ralph Lazzarini), John and Tricia Alonso, and Pam Alonso. Billy of Mark's Asphalt Paving and Sons, and later Fine Grading Services, who fought a long and valiant battle with grave illness, has now joined his father in the house of our Lord. The family will meet with friends between 11:00am and 1:00pm with a memorial service following at 1:00pm on Friday, August 8th at Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave Kentwood, MI . Immediately following the funeral a luncheon will be held at the home of John and Tricia Alonso.
