October 20, 2012 Service: October 24, 2012 Wayne L. Pickett, aged 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, October 20, 2012. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Bertie, daughter, Janice (Ted) Hembroff, 4 grandsons, Nicholas, Michael, Joseph, Teddie Jr., great-grandson, Lucas, brother, Dale Pickett, 2 sisters, Joyce Hines, Gloria Sundermeier, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cliff and sister, Marion. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, October 24th at New Hope Free Methodist Church, 5665 Eastern SE, with visitation from 10-11am before the service. A luncheon will be held following the service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
