Wafa Farah Karadsheh, a beloved resident of Kentwood, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on a bright Tuesday, March 6th, 1962, in the historical city of Madaba, Wafa's life was filled with love, laughter, and a commitment to her family and community.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Wafa is deeply mourned by her loving husband, Bassem Karadsheh. She is survived by her cherished children, Tamer (Gabriella) Karadsheh, Renee Karadsheh, Donna Karadsheh, and Johnny Karadsheh. Her light will continue to shine through her treasured grandchildren, Nadia, Amalia, and Elisabetta Karadsheh. Wafa also leaves behind her dear siblings, Marwan, Walid, Salem, and Sawsan Karadsheh, along with a host of extended family members who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Wafa was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Farah and Elaine Karadsheh, and her precious children, Sami, Joseph, and Sumia Karadsheh, who have welcomed her into eternal peace.
Professionally, Wafa was a dedicated Certified Public Accountant. Her passion for precision and her integrity garnered respect and admiration from her colleagues and clients alike. Outside of her professional life, Wafa's enthusiasm for travel took her on many adventures. She cherished every moment spent with her family and was known for her graceful dancing and melodic singing. A lover of poetry and history, Wafa often found solace in studying the history of religion and the world.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ofield Funeral Home in Kentwood, MI. A funeral ceremony to celebrate Wafa's life will be held at Saint Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in Grand Rapids, 2250 E Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a time of visiting from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church.
Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Saint Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2250 E Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, a place that held a special place in Wafa's heart.
Arrangements have been thoughtfully provided by Ofield Funeral Home. Wafa will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her joyous spirit, and the profound love she shared with all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and an undeniable impact on those who had the honor of knowing her.
