Virginia Rose Staatz Clark of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 86 went to be with
her Savior on August 20, 2022. She was born in Sherman County, Kansas at
home to August and Susie Staatz on August 16, 1936. Virginia Rose finished
the ninth grade and graduated from Beautician school.

The life of Virgina Staatz Clark was filled with aroma that drew people in to
be filled with food and love. Her uncanny ability to continually serve hot
buttered bread loaves and mile high golden rolls were always a delight to
everyone who gathered near. But it was the aroma of heaven that really
highlighted her life. Virginia continually spoke to her Savior constantly
lifting up every person in her family, church, and community. She poured
her love out for her Savior through prayer. This came from a life of learning
to forgive quickly and walking through life with a smile in her heart on her
face for everyone she encountered. This aroma continues today in face to
face worship to her loving Savior.

Virginia was the second born child of 15 siblings in total with the surviving
siblings being Avis Hazuka, Carolyn Staatz, Reba Turner, and Robert Staatz.
She spent her young life in Colorado. Virginia and her former spouse,
Edward J. Clark together had three children, Edward Clark Jr, Timothy &
Michelle Clark, Cynthia & Mark VandenBerg. Her grandchildren are Edward
J. Clark III, Jacob Clark, Michael VandenBerg, Melissa VandenBerg, and
Melanie Moore. She held in her heart many great grandchildren.
