December 13, 2012 Violet F. Kuzmin, age 87, of Grand Rapids, passed away December 13, 2012. Violet was born on August 18, 1925 in Chicago. Her husband, Lawrence, Sr., and son, Michael, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Lawrence (Lynn) Kuzmin, Jr. and Linda (John) Gromer and daughter-in-law Pearl Kuzmin; grandchildren Michael (Rose) Kuzmin, Paula (Scott) Ballinger, Nick Kuzmin, Adam Kuzmin, Larry Kuzmin, III, Chris (Grace) Kuzmin, Stephanie Gromer and Paul Gromer. Great-grandchildren Paulina and Shane Kuzmin also survive her. Violet was a long-time member of Our Savior Lutheran Church (2900 Burton SE) where her memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11:00 A.M. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. The family thanks the staff of the Woods at Maple Creek and Faith Hospice for their services.
