Vannie Welch, of Grand Rapids, age 92, passed away at the Michigan Veterans Home at Grand Rapids on September 22, 2023. She was born to Vartan Kazarian and Loucy Bedrosian on March 21,1931, in  Everett, Massachusetts

Vannie was a proud United States Marine, serving during the Vietnam Era. She was involved in the  American Legion, VFW, and DAV, volunteering her time and energy to serve other veterans.

Vannie was preceded in death by her parents, former spouse Jack, mother/ father-in-law (Arminta/Wilbur); brother-in-law (Richard) and special friend David. She is survived by her sister-in-law  (Diane/Bob); niece (Shelley/Tom); and nephew (Bob/Kim) and several great nieces and great nephews.

The family would like to thank all staff at Michigan Veterans Home at Grand Rapids and Holland Home  Hospice for the incredible care they provided.
