IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Trinh Chau
Pham
November 10, 1962 – December 5, 2020
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, Trinh (Tim) Chau Pham, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 58.
Trinh was born on November 10, 1962 in Nha Trang, Vietnam to Trinh Pham and Lan Ngoc Truong. He is survived by both his parents and his wife, Cuc Nguyen. Trinh is survived by two sons and a daughter as well as a daughter and son in law: Alexander Pham (Chelsea Rossick), Brandon Truong, and Christina Nguyen (Dennis Leancu). He is also survived by his four brothers and their wives: Trang Pham (Ha Pham), Triet Pham (Uyen Huynh), Trac Pham (Loan Ngo), and Trieu Pham (Chi Ngo)-as well as numerous brothers and sisters in law, nephews, and nieces.
Trinh graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Grand Valley State University. While he was an engineer by trade, he was truly a Renaissance man. His knowledge was vast and there seemed to be no task he couldn't manage. For him, there was always an appliance that could be taken apart and put back together, a home project to build, or a car that needed fixing. His desire for knowledge could never be satisfied-something he always wanted to share with others. Trinh left a profound impact on everyone in his left. He always put others before himself; he never turned down someone when they needed help. He maintained an optimistic demeanor even through the end of his life.
Funeral arrangements have been made at Ofield Funeral Home (located at 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI) for December 8-9, 2020. The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to one of the following groups in his honor:
