Trina Lee Velasquez, age 51 of Lansing, MI passed away on Thursday December 3, 2020.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 12, 2020, at 4760 W. State Road Lansing, MI 48906 between 12:00 and 4:00pm.


Trina was born in Lansing, MI on January 18, 1969. The daughter of Fidencio (Febe - Pam) Velasquez and Carolyn Ruth DeWitt. She was a home health aide.

Trina enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Shopping and garage sales with Aunt Cheryl. Bon Fires and karaoke with Family and friends, and working in the yard.

Trina is survived by her (3) children Aleshia Newton, Shirlyn Smith, and Stephanie Smith. (13) Grandchildren. She is also survived by her father Fidencio (Febe) Velasquez and her (4) sisters Cathy (Patrick) McCormick, Lisa (Lance) Rose, Kelly (Roger) Bateson, and Phoebe (Jeff) Galey (1) brother Zachary Freeman and many nieces and nephews.

Trina was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Costigan, all her grandparents, to many aunts and uncles to mentions.
