Todd Wiersum, age 61, beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 4, 2020.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Harold and Genevieve Wiersum, his two sisters Charlotte Gilde (Jim) and Sandra Lyon (Bob), brother Jeff, and shortly followed by his brother Dale.

He is survived by his loving wife Chris (Benham), daughters Tina DeShane (Donald) and Rose Chavez (Ricardo), granddaughter Aurora DeShane and granddaughter Genevieve (Gigi) Chavez, brothers Ron (Carol), Gary (Linda), sisters-in-law Karen (Dale) and Kristi (Jeff), many loved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Todd had a genuine servant's heart. He was involved at his place of worship at Belmont Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and various other ministries. He loved spending time with his family doing activities like camping, swimming, traveling, playing cards and other games, and of course fishing.

There will be a small private service for close family on Saturday, December 19, 2020. There will also be a life celebration service for extended family and friends in Spring 2021.

Philippians 3:20-21: "For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."
