Timothy Lee Trompen, aged 61, of Newaygo, passed away April 26, 2021 after a short battle with prostate cancer. His is survived by his two sons, Joseph and Jacob. Tim was a devoted father who cherished time with his sons. He enjoyed their trips to Moab, Utah with the Jeep and some "white knuckle" off road adventures, exploring the upper peninsula or maybe a peaceful day's fishing on Croton Pond. Tim's passion for auto racing and photography often found him chasing race cars to various tracks around the Midwest. He was especially fond of Road America. Other times, he enjoyed days observing and photographing nature on his property in Newaygo. Tim was a long-time employee of 37 years at Standale Home Studio where he developed lifelong friendships with colleagues that were like family to him. Family and friends will host a private celebration of life at Tim's home in Newaygo. In lieu of flowers or charitable donations, the family requests that you put stigma aside and be screened for cancer.
