Obituary

Timothy Clark Fenn, age 73, of Middleville, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on January 24, 2026.

Tim was born on February 5, 1952, to Martha Jo and Raymond Fenn. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971. His service reflected his strength, courage, and deep sense of duty—qualities that defined him throughout his life.

Upon returning home, Tim met the love of his life, Vickie, and together they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and laughter. They celebrated 52 years of marriage on December 8, 2025—a testament to a bond that endured through all of life’s seasons.

If you had the privilege of knowing Tim, you knew a man who accepted and loved everyone exactly as they were. He was witty, sarcastic, strong, deeply loving, and truly one of a kind. An amazing father, grandfather, and friend, he will be missed every second of every day.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Vickie Fenn; his children, Heather and Jim Tuffs, Torey and Joni Fenn, and Corey and Dorothy Fenn; his grandchildren, Alicia and Dillon Clark, Christopher Tuffs, Willow Tuffs, Riley and Savannah Fenn, and Asia and Malachi Fenn and Tanya Dawn; and his great-grandchildren, Alaina, Carson, and Colt Clark. His Siblings: Terri and Dan Weirs, Mark and Lyn Shoemaker, Kelly and Colleen Shoemaker Brenda Fenn, Sue and Jim Chandler. His mother-in-law Barbara Mohr, Sister in laws Dawn and Barb. Brothers in law Kevin and Tom.

Welcoming him home Raymond Fenn, Martha and Carl Shoemaker, Dan and Sandy Fenn, Thomas B McCune and Jim Mohr.

In accordance with his wishes, Tim has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

May the gates of heaven open wide and the protecting Saint of warriors, the archangel Michael, take hold of our fallen brethren and raise this guardian’s soul to paradise. May he wash away the sin and shield against evil, for this fallen defender of a nation and its people, has known sacrifice in service of others. Raise your sword and ascend to the safety and peace above us. Relieve this soul of burden and be blesséd upon it. Favor this soul whilst we present honor. Enshroud this noble warrior from darkness and hasten to everlasting light. Ever be righteously vigilant, as we render, our “Last Salute”. (Copyright Charles Knutson)
