Tim Clawson, 68 of Allegan, passed away very peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 with his loving wife by his side. Born August 31, 1953, he was the son of the late Lavern and Pearl Clawson. Tim was a Class of 1971 graduate of Allegan High School where he met many lifelong friends. After retiring from Magna Donnelly in 2016, Tim spent his retirement years working at True Value Hardware where he worked on windows and screens. Tim loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, camping and relaxing around a bonfire. Spending time with his family and friends in the pool was another of his favorite pastimes. Tim had many friends, but shared a special bond with a little lady, Porter Tuffelmire, who called him Timbo. His spirit will live on in all those who knew and loved him.

Tim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy (Hettinger) Clawson; his siblings, Shirley Hoffman, Nancy (Dick) Eggleston, Elliot (Jamie) Clawson, Ginny (Tony) Lombardo, Sharron Clawson, Jeff (Beth) Clawson, Terry (Mary) Clawson, Cindy Forrest, Steve (Karen) Hettinger, Roger (Kim) Hettinger and Trina Blakeman; a very special Aunt and Uncle, Lloyd and Louise Clawson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bud Clawson, Dale Clawson, Rodger Clawson and infant brother Joseph; mother- and father-in-law, John and Jan Hettinger; sisters-in-law, Sally Clawson and Carol Clawson; brothers-in-law, Tom Hoffman; Ron Doorn, John Hettinger, Rob Forrest and Kevin Blakeman.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to a charity of your choice or an animal shelter.
