Thomas J. Mooney of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020. He has reunited with his parents, John and Betty Mooney, and his brothers, Don and Jim Mooney.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Julie; his sons Jake (Michelle) and Josh (Nicole) and daughter Tammy, his grandchildren Austin, Cheyenne, Jersey, Noah, Natalie, Rylee and Quinn, his sisters Jackie and Cindy (George), sister in law Char and several special nieces and nephews.

Tom had many hobbies such as fishing, working on cars, and playing Poker, but the thing he cherished most was his family. He had a unique sense of humor, a contagious smile, and always had the best stories to tell. He also had a generous heart and would offer help at the drop of a hat. He had countless friends; to know him was to love him.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a service at 12 noon, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508. A luncheon will follow the service. Service Details. Visitation
