Thomas Martin Smith of Holland, MI, age 30, passed away suddenly, in his home, during the evening hours of Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born in Holland, MI on Feb 21,1992 to Daniel Scott Smith and Mary Ann (Frantz) Smith. Tommy was the youngest of 6 siblings.

Tom graduated from West Ottawa High School in 2010. Thomas played as a defensive tackle for 4 years on the West Ottawa Panthers football team. There was nothing in this world that meant more to Tom than his friends, family, and his cherished dog Hercules; a very large, but lovable Bullmastiff. Hercules was 8 weeks old when adopted and grew by leaps and bounds. Tom's face was always lit up with a smile and he loved to share it with everyone around him. Tom enjoyed swimming in the pool and family cookouts. Additionally, he also loved music along with attending concerts. One of his favorite activities was taking long walks with his Dad in the woods. Thomas devoted himself to his religion and the people around him. In the last two years, he spent much of his time caring for his mother during her long illness. Tommy wished to spend eternity among nature, so his ashes will be spread at a later date. He never liked to be the center of attention and private family services will be held in the future. Tom was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Mary Ann (Frantz) Smith last December. He was also preceded in death by several Aunts and Uncles, and his Grandparents.

Tom will be lovingly remember by his Father, Daniel Smith; and 5 Siblings: David (Leslie) Maginity of Fennville, Alicia (Greg) Barnum of North Muskegon, Michael (Jennifer) Maginity of Rothbury, Amy Gray of Whitehall, and Teresa Smith of Whitehall; And many Nieces and Nephews: Breana Maginity, DJ Duque, Dominic Stevens, Alexis Moore, Vincent Maginity, Kayla Maginity, Lincoln Maginity, Adam Barnum, Bailey Douglas, Cameron Douglas, Carson Barnum, Lauren Douglas, Noah Douglas, Isaac Barnum, Blake Gray, and Jayden Gray: Aunts; Dianna Bohunicky, and Joanne (Junior) Gibson, Lani Smith and Uncle; Steve (Myrna) Smith; and many cousins.
