Thomas William Kendall, Sr. of Allegan has passed at home surrounded by family after a brief fight with cancer.

Tom was born the son of James and Eunice (Parsons) Kendall on December 28, 1943 in Warren, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Kendall, Jr. and his daughter Mary Katherine "Kathy" (Kendall) Hoff.

Tom's love for his family came first, followed by fishing & hunting and Western shows. He was an avid collector of fishing and hunting items. Tom had a variety of jobs throughout his life. His retirement years were spent buying, selling and trading fishing and hunting items. There were very few things Tom could not fix and his services were shared with family & friends from Michigan to Florida. Tom looked forward to the annual family camping trips and making Tomlets for his loved ones.

Tom is survived by his wife of 46 years Judith (Hitchcock) Kendall; his children Thomas (Suzanne) Kendall, Jr., Christina (Iain Penman) Kendall, and William Kendall; grandchildren: Travis, Kimberly (Michael), David, Mark, Thomas (Kylee), Caitlyn (William), Taylor, and Cody (Kara); and great-grandchildren: Skylar, Tylar,
Arya, Joshua, Luke, Liam, Azaiah, and Saige; his sister Eleanore (Earl) Huff and many other family members & special friends.

Tom's wishes are that part of his ashes be spread at his favorite fishing hole in the Gulf of Mexico, the rest will stay with Judy until they can be interred together at the Millgrove Cemetery in Allegan, Michigan.
