Thomas (Tom) Michael Johnson, 32, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19th, 2019. Thomas was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he attended Forest Hills Public Schools. He was passionate about music, amazingly artistic, had a magic green thumb in his garden and a deep unconditional love for animals of all kinds. He was a kind, gentle soul and touched many lives with his words of wisdom in deep conversations, and his multiple talents with music and instruments. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Clifford E. Bruwer. He is survived by his Grandmother Patrice Bruwer-Miller (Robert), his Mother Abbi Rubbelke (Jason), his Fiance Rebekah Pickett, his sister Brittney Bueschel (Russ Cooper), brothers; Darien Carpentier and Dillon Carpentier, his step-siblings; Ethan McGhee, Dakota Rubbelke, Melody Rubbelke, and Melia Rubbelke. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, his dog Ein, as well as a great group of close friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. A memorial service is being arranged for a future date in the Spring. Details to follow.
