Preceded in death: by Myrtle (mother), Keith (father), Larry (brother). Survived by: 2 sisters named Phyllis and Darlene. Leaves behind a wife, Cinda (Chilcote) Eaton. Children and spouses are: Scott Carroll, Thomas Jr. and Lysa Eaton, Tammy and John Sproat, Peter and Jennifer Eaton... 9 grandchildren include: Jesse, Carly, Thomas the 3rd, Maggie, Bryce, Brady, Kayla, Joseph, Kimberly and 1 great-grandchild Carter Eaton My dad served the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was married for 51 years. He was born and raised where he died on the west side of Grand Rapids Michigan. He loved to hunt and fish and camp or just sit on the porch. Family vacations were a must and he loved making people feel welcomed when in his home. His 'gift of gab' will be missed for generations. He has asked that instead of funeral services that family and friends gather in his name at Faith United Methodist Church @ 2600 7th Street GR,MI on March 23rd at 1 pm.
