Thomas James Caton, 70, of Shelbyville, Michigan. Thomas was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 14, 1952, to James and Irene Caton. Tom passed away peacefully at home May 5, 2023. Tom is preceded in death by his son Christopher J. Caton, his parents and 2 sisters.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Beth Caton, his son Andrew Caton, his grandchildren Caleb (Marissa) Caton, Tyler (Lyndsey) Caton and Kelsee (Drew) Porritt. Thomas was also blessed with 3 beautiful Great grandchildren.

Tom made a career out of his adventurous spirit as an over the road truck driver. During his 48 year career he logged 5.7 million miles crisscrossing the United States many, many times. During this time he also drove as a team with his wife Beth and son Christopher. The last 15 years he made his home at Everfresh Transportation in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Per Thomas's wishes he will be cremated. No memorial is planned at this time.
