Thomas George Berger of Fennville, MI went home to be with the Lord on November 30,2017 in a peaceful manner after a short illness. Tom was born in Chicago in July 1943 and is survived by his 4 brothers, Robert Berger of Fennville, MI, Donald Berger of Carmel, IN, Timothy Berger of Morris, IL and Ronald Berger of Portland, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Van Dyke Berger and Fannie Kickert Berger. Tom also lived in Memphis, TN, Birmingham, AL and the Tampa, FL area before moving to Fennville, MI in 2011. He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing during his life and spent almost his entire career in the steel industry before retiring. He will be missed and loved always by his 4 brothers, and his many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the spring by all of his brothers and their families to celebrate Tom's life after they place his remains in a cemetary near South Holland, IL next to his mother and father.
