IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas
Beaman
December 6, 1935 – September 23, 2023
Tom, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. His family was grateful to be together for a weekend visit when he "graduated to the next level" as his brother, Leland, shared. Tom, TJ, "Steamin' Beaman" was born on December 6, 1935 to Townsend Frederick and Rossi Rae (Duncan ) Beaman in Jackson, Michigan. After serving his country in the US Navy, he furthered his education with degrees from Albion College and Cooley Law School. Following graduation from Albion College, Tom helped his father create the success of JAXON Wire Products, an established leader in the development and manufacturer of fabricated wire products. He owned the wire company until its sale in 1981. Jaxon Wire Products was located in Stone Village, a grand historical estate where Tom grew up. Tom then became comptroller for Boltec Industries in Fowlerville, Michigan, and Fasco Industries in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Later in life, Tom used his law degree to embark on a new chapter as a pro bono attorney, selflessly offering his legal expertise to those in need.
Tom had a special affinity for the game of golf. He could often be found on the greens chasing that perfect swing resulting in four Aces! In more recent years, Tom found solace in sitting on the front porch playing endless games of Scrabble and enjoying the company of wonderful neighbors and their dogs. He was also a lifelong amateur ornithologist enjoying the challenge of identifying birds and patterns in their song.
Thomas is survived by the mother of his beloved twins, Diane Schulcz of Grand Rapids, Michigan, his brother, Leland and significant other, Lynn Paxton, Phoenix, Arizona, sister-in-law, Wilma Beaman,Jackson, Michigan, daughter, Kelley Marie Beaman and her son, Hudson Landeck , Chicago, Illinois, daughter, Kristen Patrice and son-in-law Chas McDaniels and their children Henry and Julia Marie, Brentwood , MO, deceased daughter Michelle Beaman's children, Candice, Allie, Ashley, and Daniel, great-grand children and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle, brother, Duncan, and sister, Sandra. We want to express our praise and admiration to Tom's faithful and amazing caregivers, Andrea Honey and Regina Manning. We were truly blessed to have them as a part of our lives.
We will always have a relationship with Tom. Love is eternal.
