November 7, 2014 Terrie (Terri) Allen Slenk was born on December 6, 1947. She grew up in the Detroit area and was a graduate of Madison High. As a young adult, she moved to the Holland area. Terri was an avid spinner and knitter. She was free spirited with an open mind, and always gave her unfiltered opinion (occasionally to the horror of her beloved family.) She will be greatly missed. Terri was preceded in death by her husband Al Slenk, brother Robert Allen, and father Bob Allen. She is survived by her mother Beverly Allen, daughters: Sarah (Brian) Vos, Jennifer (Jerrod) Albright, and Erinn (Daniel) Mutz. Siblings: Julie (Denny) Roelofs, Don (Donna) Allen, Gerry (Rose) Allen, and Karen Peters. She is also survived by her grandchildren (her "liebchens") Allissa, Jennifer, Brendan, Colton, Oriauna, and Andrew. A wake in celebration and remembrance of her life will take place on Monday, November 10th at the Main Street Inn Cafe conference room from 6:30-8pm: 117 W. Main Street, Lowell, MI 49331.
