Teresa Marie TenBrink born Feb. 24, 1968, daughter of Valerie Jean Carpenter-Becerra and the late Gary Wayne TenBrink, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, after losing a lifelong battle with addiction. She will be remembered for her willingness to help a stranger, her sense of humor and for putting on a smile even when she wasn't feeling it. She was independent from a young age, wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and paved her own way from Michigan to Florida and even had a recent stint in Puerto Rico. Her friends say she did not have conditions for acceptance and may have been the definition of larger than life.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Valerie, three daughters, Jackie Payette (Simon), Korie Davis (Jawuan), and Taylor Schmidt, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, and both siblings. Teresa was very clear with her family about her wishes after death and we will honor those in a private manner.
