Sylvia Jemali, age 79 of Detroit, Dearborn, Farmington, Novi, Ann Arbor, MI and Clearwater Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2017 at the Beacon Hill Assisted Living Facility. Sylvia was born October 17, 1937. She graduated from Providence Hospital Nursing School in 1972 and worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) for Providence Hospital. She was a very kind and caring person who enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She is survived by her only child James (Elizabeth) Zeqollari, grandchildren Captain Angela Zeqollari, Crystal (Keith) Rikli, Robert (SSGT Allison) Gochenour, great grandsons Seth and Samuel Gochenour, sisters Liria Hasho, Dita (Robert) MacDonald, many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial for Sylvia on Saturday, March 4th at 12:30 pm at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 1675 84th St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316, Pastor Brad Kalajainen will officiate. There will be a light luncheon afterwards at Jim and Beth's home at 1815 Pembroke St SE in Kentwood.
