Obituary

Suzanne Naas, age, 95 passed peacefully in her home on 9/28/22. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Robert Naas (WWII Veteran), brothers Tom and Bill, and parents William and Maxine Spiegel. Suzanne leaves behind her son James Naas of Charlotte, her Daughter Connie (Richard) Todd of Lewes DE, grand daughter Lindsey Barry (Chris) Parziale, and great granddaughter Sienna Jacona of Delaware. Her daughter Nancy (Jeff) Wickman of East Grand Rapids, MI and granddaughter Allison (Austin) Fatjo, great grandchildren Walker, Kennedy and Blakely of Houston, TX, granddaughters Amanda Wickman and Molly (Mitch) Zlotnick and great grandson Davis Zlotnik who also reside in Houston, TX. Suzanne grew up in Birmingham, MI and moved to East Grand Rapids 20 years ago. She enjoyed bridge, needlepoint, knitting, golf, garden club, traveling the world and spending time with her grandchildren. In her free time she volunteered for Salvation Army, Cranbrook Art Institute and was President of the boys and girls club of Detroit. She was a member of the Village Women's Club and Bloomfield Hill Country Club. The family would like to Thank Hospice of Michigan for their care and compassion during Suzanne's illness. Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan. A private family burial will be performed at a later date.
