Obituary

Susan Ann "Sue" Rosen (Knice), 68, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on October 24, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Deer Park, New York, where she formed lifelong friendships and a deep love for family and community.

Sue is survived by her devoted husband, George; her loving children, Trisha and George Jr. (Kim); her brother, Bill (Anna); her sister, Trisha (Joe); her sister-in-law, Janice Zdonczik (Mike); her brother-in-law, Ken Rosen (Joanne); her sister-in-law Antionette Knice; her cherished nieces and nephews; and numerous dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ann Knice; her brother, Bobby Knice; and her mother-in-law, Janet Rosen.

Sue retired from Supreme Meats in 2021 after over 25 years of dedicated service as office manager. She was admired for her professionalism, loyalty, and the lasting friendships she built with coworkers and clients throughout her career.

Beyond her work, Sue found joy in cooking, reading, and spending time with those she loved most. She especially cherished her time at the family's lake house in Mecosta, Michigan, where she found peace and happiness by the water. For more than a decade, Sue and George enjoyed annual beach trips to Mexico with the same close-knit group of family and friends—traditions that brought her endless laughter, sunshine, and treasured memories.

Those who knew Sue will remember her kindness, generosity, and selfless spirit. She made everyone feel welcomed and loved, often through a warm meal, a listening ear, or a thoughtful act of caring.

Sue's life was a reflection of love, family, and gratitude. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
