In Loving Memory of Susan Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Johnson, who left this world peacefully after years of facing medical challenges. She was born on June 4, 1954, and throughout her 70 years, she lived a life full of love, devotion, and strength.

A beloved mother of two boys, Jeremy (Shannon) Johnson and Paul (Loni) Johnson, a cherished grandmother of six: Taylor (Brad) Orszula, Michael (Stephanie) Phillips, Nolan Johnson, Gabby Johnson, Desiree Rondeau, and Nate Johnson, and a proud great-grandmother to her namesake, Brooklyn Sue Orszula, Susan was the cornerstone of her family. In her final years, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law, Shannon Johnson.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, David and Donna Knittle. She is survived by her siblings, Terri Knittle, David Knittle, Michelle Murtha, and Mike (Deb) Knittle and their daughter Bailey Knittle.

Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to countless friends and loved ones. She was not only a remarkable mother but also a compassionate sister and an extraordinary friend to many.

Susan touched the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 27, from 2-5pm at Waverly Meadows 755 E 16th Street Holland, MI 49423, in the main community room.
