On the morning of May 11, 2019, Susan Ida of Grand Rapids, MI passed away at the age of 65. Sue was born to Alfred and Doris Ida in 1953. She received her bachelors degree in Sociology at GVSU. She worked at UPS for more than 30 years. Sue loved sports! She played softball and basketball and was a softball coach at Aquinas College. She attended many of her niece's, great niece's and nephew's sports games. They even nicknamed her "Soup". Sue loved cats and rescued many throughout the years. Her great sense of humor will be sadly missed. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Alfred, her mother, Doris, and brothers, Bob and Steven. Sue is survived by her sister, Mary, two brothers, David and Bruce and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Sue's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial.
