Susan (Sue) Cox of Muskegon, Michigan, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was born to Floyd and Mildred Moore on November 6, 1946. She was born in Muskegon into a large, loving family. She graduated in the inaugural class of Mona Shores High School. She loved the lakeshore and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Throughout the trials of life, her Christian faith never wavered.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Brenda Cox-Nelson and Pam (Jayson) Ernst; her grandchildren, Vincent, Anthony and Anna; her sisters, Barb, Linda and Janice; nieces and nephews; her precious Ginger (dog) and her surrogate kids that she gained over the years becoming their second mom.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her son David, her brother Dennis (Denny) and sister Wendy.

The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital for the care and compassion they provided during her last days.

The funeral service for Susan will be celebrated by Pastor Sean Kidd at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Service Details. Visitation
