Stuart Hammond, 92, passed away peacefully at his home on May 28, 2021. Stuart was born on July 26, 1928 to Leland and Georgia Hammond on the family farm in Doster where he had lived all his life. In 1947 he married Virginia (Ginny) Adams and they spent 70 years together. He is survived by his three sons Michael (Wanda), Paul (Charlotte) and Phillip (Theresa) and a brother Basil. Stuart is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 35 great and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Stuart graduated from Delton Kellogg High School in 1945 and worked various jobs until he started Hammond Electric in 1954 with one of the first electrician licenses in the State. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and spending time with his family. As per Stuart's wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
