IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven
Wyskochil
June 11, 1948 – May 5, 2024
Steven Louis Wyskochil "The Little Debbie Man" born June 11, 1948 in Traverse City, MI passed away on May 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Barbara, half brother Bob Feasel, brother Ken and youngest daughter Angela.
Steve was a hard working professional with a strong work ethic. He started his day early so he could play nine holes of golf and tip a few before league started. His entire career was in the grocery industry starting as a teenager. His 18 years as "The Little Debbie Man" is the one job he'll be most known for. His children, nieces, and nephews always had an endless supply of snack cakes.
Steve enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, playing cards, cribbage, and bar hopping. He was also an avid reader since he was a child. Novels were his biggest love. He read The Lord of the Rings trilogy every couple of years religiously. He also still had a huge music collection. Steve loved to have a good time with others. He had a vivacious personality, a guttural voice, and an uproarious laugh that were unmistakably his own.
Steve will be missed greatly by his best friend and younger brother Dave, son Steven, daughter Michelle, daughter Jennifer, grandchildren Breana, Jacob, Garret, Greyson James, Anthony, Lilliana, Jayvien, and Kayden as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held this summer along with burial in Traverse City.
In honor of Steve's love for reading donations can be made to Reading Is Fundamental.
