September 2, 2014 Stephen Paul VanderWeg, 70, of Belding, MI passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of September 2nd 2014. Steve fought and overcame many struggles and health issues in his life and he always carried himself with strength, patience, kindness and most importantly of all, unconditional love. Steve is survived by his wife of 23 years Rusty VanderWeg, his daughters Trena Dykstra and Renee VanderWeg, son in law Scott Story (married to step daughter Dee who passed away in 2009), step daughter Heather Maliakal, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday September 9th, 2014 at Impact Church in Lowell, MI.
