Stephen Wallace Skipp of Grandville, Michigan, age 67, passed away after a short bout with cancer, peacefully on August 6th, 2021.

Stephen was born one of eight children to Charles and Phyllis Skipp on June 26th, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was a graduate of Central High School and worked many years for Hartford Insurance Company.

Stephen loved to travel for work and pleasure. He lived in California and Hawaii for many years, loved to go on cruises, and spending time in Palm Springs.

Stephen is survived by his brothers, Charles, Fred & Sandy, and Brian; two sisters, Mary and Jacqueline; nephews and nieces, Corey, Nick, Jordan, Joshua, Lindsey, Abbey, David, Chuck, Kenny and Audrey; and many friends including David & Nancy Firlik, Emily Armstrong, and good friends Jim & Tony, and many more.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Phyllis Skipp.

The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for their care and compassion during Stephen's illness.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life event in the near future.
